Double discretion with Always Discreet #DiscreetatTarget

I’ve been getting my period for 24 years.  I got over embarrassment about period supplies years ago; after all, most women have this every month. They even advertise this stuff on TV, much to my brothers’ discomfort.  Still, I haven’t quite gotten over having to carry around those “other” pads – the ones for light bladder leakage.  However, I’ve found a solution to this problem – Always Discreet.

Always has answered our woes and is now making Always Discreet, products that are specifically for us gals that pee a little when we laugh…or sneeze, or jump, or just sit.  These products are available on shelves at Target but if you’re still like me and trying to come to grips with buying these products, you can now order them on’s subscription service.

Me, I went for the full red-face experience and picked my Always Discreet products up on my most recent Target shopping trip.  These chill on their own shelving section, right smack dab in the middle of the other incontinence products.  While this is technically where they belong, I have seen Always Discreet hanging out next to regular Always period pads like fraternal twinsies in other stores. I’d love to see Target do the same thing. But the fact I can pick these up at my favorite store, along with everything else under the sun, like baptism cards and tiki torch fuel (truth)? AWESOME.

I think the best part is that these pads are made by the experts at keeping us dry – Always.  I don’t know about you, but Always was the very first brand I turned to all of those years ago, and I’ve used them since then.  So it’s only natural to rely on these pros at stepping it up a level to keep us dry and comfy.  So now I can keep up all summer long with my kids, without worrying that there’s a bathroom at every stop (well, at least for my purposes).

I picked up some more Always Discreet liners and opted to try some pads this time around, as there will be extended trips this time of year.  Plus, sweat.  I sweat like a hog the second the calendar hits June so I’m loving the Always Discreet just for this purpose.  Throw in their real purpose and I’m one happy (and dry!) lady.

Even cooler is that the Always Discreet pads and liners look no different than other pads. These products are not diaper-like in any way.  The Ultra-Thin liners are just as skinny as the skinniest general use liners.  If somebody handed me one of each and didn’t tell me which was which, I would be stumped.

Just a note: Always Discreet does also carry full, disposable underwear so you can going with your life, no matter how much protection you need.

Summer is a time to play so don’t sweat the leaky bladder.  Go online to Target, order some Always Discreet to arrive at your house at appropriate intervals, throw them in your bag and have fun.  Or if you’re more secure in your leaky bladder than me, go pick them up the next time you’re at Target.  You can see the complete Always Discreet product line on, as well as start your subscriptions so you’re ALWAYS dry! (get it???)

I really appreciate that Always Discreet recognizes that some ladies (read: me) have trouble dealing mentally with this facet of aging so they’ve helped us by keeping their extra absorbancy powers on the DL with the incognito pads and liners.  Throw it the at-home subscription service and you’ve got double discretion with Always Discreet.

This is a great post indeed and I have used Always in the past but haven’t for a while now. I am going to have to check them out again and I love the at-home subscription service idea. Thanks for sharing.

I was just telling my mother in law she should try these pads from Always. They sound perfect for her needs and look just like regular pads.

I really have to pick up some of these to try out and see if they work for me. One thing is for certain–I always have to know where the nearest bathroom is!! These might make me feel a bit more secure.

They actually look no different to everyday pads, so I think I could comfortably buy these, I still like to cover them with other shopping in my trolley but wouldn’t feel any different at the till because of the look of them.
