For us, that weather is during the summer when it’s 115+ degrees outside. We like to watch movie after movie after movie and eat lots of snacks! I love my movie theater popcorn machine!

I stay inside w/ my grandsons a lot when it’s so cold. We play w/ a lot of educational toys–the 19.5 mo old just loves puzzles; the 6.5 y/o loves Minecraft on his Kindle or my phone way too much. We also color (even the little one), play w/ Playdough, play w/ Duplos or Legos, listen to music and watch a few PBS episodes of their favorite show–Daniel Tiger. The older one reads like a fiend and the younger one loves to be read to.

This winter I have spend a LOT of time inside. We have had COLD/SNOW/ICE and none of them are my favorite. As a senior I can find plenty to do all day long from crafting, reading, TV, computer.

I’ve spent time watching movies with my daughter and cuddling with my dogs and cats since it’s been far too cold and snowy to be outside much. Once the weather warms up, I’ll be going for long walks with my dogs. I adopted a 10-month-old Coonhound girl about 5-6 weeks ago and I’ve also been working on training her. She’s smart, although stubborn, and picking up things quickly!
