Brought to you by Dr Pepper® and Albertsons Companies.

In case you didn’t notice, it’s time for college football!  I love me some football, and a lot of that has to do with what I call “football snacks”.  These are just snack foods that my family loves to indulge while we watch the games.  We don’t really get to tailgate, but homegating suits us much better.

Having an ACME store right down the road makes it so easy to stock up for these eventful game days, as well as the other items I need for my home.  I recently ventured out to pick up a few homegating necessities, including Dr Pepper®.  Right now, Dr Pepper is featuring special labeling to celebrate the current season of college football – just a little something extra to add to the excitement of game day.

Once home, I chilled our soda and broke out the chips and some dip with some veggies for balance.  We love the classics in our house!  And what better to go with these snacks than the ice cold taste of Dr Pepper?  Chips, dip, and Dr Pepper make for an awesome combination to make college football viewing even better.

I also whipped up my special nachos, which again paired nicely with Dr Pepper.  I have to admit that our 12 pack is pretty much gone already.  A little embarrassing, but it is just so good.  I’ll also be enjoying Dr Pepper while I check in on games I might miss (though I’ll try really hard not to!).

Now you can be rewarded with a $5 Fanatics promo code for buying Dr Pepper!  Just buy 2 Dr Pepper 12-Pack 12oz Cans, 6-Pack 16.9oz Bottles or 8-Pack 12oz Bottles from any Albertsons retailer and text FANGEAR to 811811.   (Don’t worry, you can email a photo too) Then follow the instructions to upload a photo of your receipt to get a $5 Fanatics promo code and use it on game day gear.  See all the complete details now at www.GameTimeFanGear.com.
