We all love our pets.  Of course – that’s why we have them!  But just like between humans, love can look very different, depending on who it’s coming from and who it’s being given to.

I was recently lamenting that Daisy would never sit with me, and would only lay with me when I was in bed.  Well, I think I discovered a Daisy magnet: a heated plush throw.  It’s never on unless I’m using it, and I’m usually only using it when I’m cross stitching and have the footrest up in my recliner.  Daisy has found the perfect nest between my legs, which works out perfectly.  She’s nice and cozy and I have plenty of room for my materials and the comfort of a happy cat.

Love can also take other forms. My 9 year old daughter has been on cat-toy creating spree. She recently made some cat nip mice with her aunt that our usually lazy cats went crazy over.  Then about 2 weeks ago, she found an idea to make cat toys using hair bands and strips of material.  My crafty girl whipped these right up, much to the delight of Carrie.  She takes such joy to see something that she made loved so much, especially when our cats aren’t the most physically affectionate to the kids.

My own love language is food, so the easiest and most frequent way I show my cats love is to get them food that they tastes good and is good for them.  Chicken Soup for the Soul Pet Food recently redesigned their packaging for a fresh new look that you should be seeing on store shelves soon.  This new look was created to feature the fact that Chicken Soup for the Soul Pet Food is now grain-free!  I feel good knowing that my cats are getting a healthy food experience.  The cats like the taste and could care less about what’s in it, but they do know that they are loved.  Find out where you can pick up the new wet and dry formulas for cats and dogs here: https://goo.gl/2YNwAT.

They were so excited about Chicken Soup for the Soul’s new formula, it even got our reclusive cat, Chloe, out of hiding! I don’t know the last time I got a picture of all three of them together.

Maybe we should try Chicken Soup for the Soul Pet Food for our cats. I never knew about this brand before. We have a Lynx Point Siamese and a Snowshoe Siamese.

I’ve not heard of this brand before. I’ve heard of the books but not the pet food. I don’t have pets, so I wouldn’t be able to try it. I hope that the people who try it with their pets, find it beneficial 🙂

It looks like your cats all get along. I have one cat and am considering adopting another but worry about how they would adapt to each other. This looks like a high quality pet food that would be good for my cat.

I’ve never heard of this pet food before. I wish my stores sold it. It’s pretty hard finding grain-free foods. I wonder if this company does grain-free wet food as well. I will have to stop by their website.

I’ve been using this cat food brand for years. This is a first that I’ve heard of or seen the grain free version. I will be checking my pet store that I go to and get a sample bag. If they like it, I’ll be switching, thank you for the review.

I didn’t know about this pet food brand. My sweet, Lilly, has left us but she had a bad a grain allergy. Getting her on a grain free diet made such a difference for her. It turns out that my son’s new rescue dog also has a grain allergy. I’ll have to let him know about this brand.

The Chicken Soup for the Soul sounds like a great food product indeed for cats and dogs. I am going to have to get some for my dog and I love that it is available in grain free too. Thanks for sharing and I love your daughters ideas for cat toys.

I saw this at the Pet Smart a couple of times already and kind of wondered about it. I have a very finicky cat when it comes to food. Glad I saw this-I will pick some up next time and see how she likes it.
