Our house is for sale right now so I didn’t put up all of our decorations this year – just changed the tablecloths and put out some nice candles.

I decorate INSIDE the house while my husband decorates OUTSIDE the house. Usually, he spells something across our fence in Christmas lights, but after misspelling something last year, he refuses to do it again. So the kids and I have asked him to cover the swing set in lights, but so far, he’s evaded our efforts to make our house shine.

My husband likes to set up the tree and decorations. I like to have the house smelling like the holidays with mulling spices.

We just have a few small decorations and some lights that we put up with the kids. We have a magnetic advent calendar that we hang up, they love to do the countdown. Christmas is coming fast this year for sure 🙂

This year is a crazy decorating year because we are moving!! But we always get out the advent calendar and Christmas books first!!! We have been growing our own little tree for the last three years so we decorate that! It’s fun to watch it grow each year!
