Before my daughter was born, I worked in the corporate headquarters of a large chain of travel agencies. The Caribbean was our biggest market, so I knew a lot about the different island and hotels. I was always dying to go, but it just didn’t happen.
And years later, I’m still longing to go. The two things holding me back are the price and the lack of the passport. No, I’ve never had a passport. I’ve technically left the country to across the bridge in Niagara Falls to Canada, but that’s the farthest I’ve gone.
Maybe someday we’ll get to the Caribbean. Hopefully it’ll be as gorgeous and wonderful as I’ve built it up to be all of these years.

I have always wanted to go there too. It just looks so beautiful and relaxing and to me is the ultimate vacation spot. I have never had a passport nor been out of the country, but hopefully one day that will change. I hope you will get your dream vacation soon!

I could never afford it, but was lucky to have someone pay my way on a cruise (my sister’s ex-boyfriend). I’m dreaming of going with my husband who has never been any place like that!

I’ve always wanted to go there, too! There are so many places to explore, each with it’s own unique history and culture! One day……

I hope you get to the Caribbean someday. I, too, hope to eventually get to the Caribbean.

I’m another person who hasn’t been there, but it does sound quite appealing.

I does not take much to get a passport so that part can be complete no problem. Cost is always the biggest issue. Maybe save a bit here and there. I have never been there either.

I agree price can hold you back from taking the vacation that you have always wanted too. However, I believe that saving money and buying the essential things you only need will help you achieve that dream vacation you have always wanted to.

I’ve never had a passport either! I have been to Canada 3 times before the law came into effect
I would love to travel outside the country. Good luck to both of us

There’s definitely something enchanting and alluring about tropical islands.

I have been to Thailand but have let my passport expire since. I haven’t been anywhere exotic like the Carribean but I would love too!

I’ve never been either and if it looks as amazing as that photograph, then I would love to make a trip in the future! Right now our vacations are centered around 4 kids…maybe for my 50th wedding anniversary.
